One could give them the benefit of the doubt if one were extremely generous up to the time of Butler, but that they doubled down on their dehumanization campaign against Trump after the first attempt on his life and have now tripled down on the slander and hatemongering after the second attempt, it’s clear they are actively encouraging more attempts.
