“How about First Degree Attempted Murder seeing as this CIA/State Dept. asset sat for 12 hours (premeditation) with his assassination kit, waiting for President Trump to come close enough to take a shot at him.”

I would be shocked if charges like the above are not added. They have him cold on the filed charges so that lets them hold him until they get their act together on the others.

The DOJ is malicious, not stupid.

Correct. They initially charge enough to hold him, and to deny bond. The prosecutor will add charges as the investigation proceeds.

Assuming he survives long enough.

Oh, they're stupid too. Lawfare proves that. It's no secret they are overzealous when it comes to overcharging their political enemies with crimes.
