I really feel for the parents of young kids and their children- it has to be nerve-wracking having kids in public schools today.
Which is why you DON'T. PERIOD. Whatever it takes. Frankly, it cost me most of my retirement money to give my two children a Lutheran (real Christian, not ELCA) school education. So I'm 70, working 40+ hours to supplement SSA, and glad I am.
