LA and NYC data are not included. About 30% of departments don’t submit data, and I suspect the missing ones are the ones with the most data needing reporting. So the FBI UCR database is mostly worthless for judging trends.
It certainly is now. I posted an article about it a few weeks ago. As useless as filtered climate BS.
