BOSTON — Boston police are investigating after high-end items were stolen from several Back Bay stores Saturday.
Alo and Zara, both of which are on Newbury Street, were two of the stores that were robbed in the area, which is a shopping destination for locals and tourists.
Advertisement Store management at the Sunglass Hut in the nearby Prudential Mall said they were hit as well on Saturday. They said a group of men and women walked out of the store with expensive sunglasses without paying for the items.

About 6 months ago, I went to my local Salvation Army store to buy some shirts. They had two entire racks of Zara clothing, new with tags still on. I wondered then if it was a result of a smash/grab/dump operation...
Zara is a huge supporter of Salvation Army. They donate a huge amount of brand new Zara clothing to SA on a regular basis. Many SA stores have dedicated Zara racks.
