Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit Friday to stop a county from using taxpayer dollars to pay a voter registration firm aligned with progressives to identify unregistered voters.
Travis County is allegedly illegally paying taxpayer dollars to Civic Government Solutions (CGS), a voter registration firm, to create a list of unregistered voters for the county, according to the lawsuit. Travis County, home of Austin, Texas, is solidly blue, and CGS CEO Jeremy Smith has made statements in the past that encourage people to vote for progressive candidates.

A ping out to the Texas Ping list, founded by Windflier.
“Travis County has blatantly violated Texas law by paying partisan actors to conduct unlawful identification efforts to track down people who are not registered to vote,” Paxton said in a press release. “Programs like this invite fraud and reduce public trust in our elections. We will stop them and any other county considering such programs.”
Paxton filed a lawsuit on Wednesday against Bexar County for allegedly sending out massive amounts of registration applications regardless of whether they were requested via a third-party vendor.
A really good find by BlackFemaleArmyColonel, and worth your time to see why Paxton is suing these left wing counties. It isn't about the votes, it is about the "registrations", to hide their fraud when they vote for non-voters.

As always, please FReepmail me if you want on or off the Texas Ping list.
Blessings, and stay cool!
“As a nonpartisan organization, our focus is solely on identifying and assisting unregistered individuals,” Davis told the DCNF. “We do not use demographic, political, or any other criteria; we simply segment records based on county and registration status.”
Sure, Tracy, sure.
Ken Paxton kicks ass. That’s why the far=left crappers tried to impeach him and are doing whatever they can to get him out of there. Texans aren’t buying their crap. The Bush gang even tried to get him removed.
Support Ken Paxton.
GET OUR TAX MONEY BACK !!!
Ken is the man. He took out a lot of RINOS with his landslide in the last election.
Hey, it’s Texas ... Tar and feather them and give them a ride out of town an a rail.
I have been saying for years that these so called voter registration groups should all be banned. They are all up to no good. And it is not their business to be involved in such matters. Public information on voting put out by the state is all that is needed. Beyond that- voting is a responsibility. It is up to the voter to follow through on that.
Thanks for the ping.
God bless Paxton and God bless Texas!
Thank you Ken Paxton!!!
As Trump said the day he was wounded, “Fight! Fight! Fight!”

Please make sure that any Settlement agreements include a provision that Democrats cannot involve themselves in anything voter related for the next 100 years. Goose/Gander.
Thanks
I’m kinda conflicted on this. Bexar County is already a solidly “blue” county......what difference does it make how many more Democrats they register? Kinda like bringing coal to Newcastle.
I have a question:
If the “progressives” who live in Texas, don’t like it there or want to live in a more communistic state...just LEAVE????
Wouldn’t it be possible for those who HATE LAW AND ORDER, A FREEDOM STATE, TO LEAVE AND GO TO ...UH...VERMONT, MASSACHUSITTS, CALIFORNIA...
LEAVE TEXAS ALONE!!!!!!!
I forgot that lovely chaotic, dysfunctional state...COLORADO.
There are so many other rancid states to move to.
JUST LEAVE TEXAS.
I love Texas, but it’s too hot for me.
I suspect that it is just part of getting enough registered voters on the rolls for that day when Texas might be close to going blue.
It certainly affects the citizens of Bexar County, down ballots elections and lets the Dems have a “pool” of votes to depend on whenever they need it.
They have a hard time getting rid of Abbott, Cruz and Paxton. Others on a statewide ballots might have a closer election.
“I suspect that it is just part of getting enough registered voters on the rolls for that day when Texas might be close to going blue.”
Yea, that’s probably true and the way that SA is expanding our to Castroville would indicate to me that the day Texas goes blue is probably sooner than I would like. But..as they say on Wall Street, you can’t fight the tape. Demographics is destiny.
