Democrats’ rule of law rhetoric doesn’t match reality

Vice President Kamala Harris has leaned into the prosecutorial experience she once downplayed...And the party has uniformly sought to blame Republicans for an illegal immigration crisis that unfolded on Democrats’ watch....

Harris and other Democrats have gone out of their way in this election to distance themselves from soft-on-crime positions they celebrated... Democratic candidates in congressional races have sunk $24 million into pro-police campaign ads so far this cycle...

Republicans have increasingly focused on what they see as the weaponization of the Department of Justice against Democrats’ ideological foes....Still, Democrats have cast Trump as posing the greater threat of weaponizing the DOJ....

The Biden DOJ...invested substantial resources into prosecuting more than 1,200 people for...Jan. 6... Democratic prosecutors...have, by contrast, dropped charges against anti-Israel protesters who destroyed property in New York City and Washington, D.C... [And] did not pursue serious charges against most of the rioters accused of looting and destroying buildings during the riots that occurred after George Floyd’s death in 2020.

Democrats regularly accuse Trump and Republicans of seeking to undermine confidence in elections ahead of November...But Democratic groups are simultaneously fighting to install or preserve rules that allow for ambiguity in election administration....

With early voting on the horizon, the Republican Party has less than 30 days left to emphasize Agenda 47 over responding to tit-for-tat issues. I noticed an article today about Dems flying banners over football games linking Trump to Agenda 2025. OTOH I've seen zero commercials, tictoks or tweets linking Dems with the Progressive/Socialist People's Agenda. Time is running out for the RNC to get it together and get to it, especially in blitzing the hispanic communities, 50% of which say they have yet to be contacted.

Law? The “law” is of no concern to ‘rats, otherwise there would be no ‘rats, evildoers, and probably not much need for law.

Sometimes the law defends plunder and participates in it. Sometimes the law places the whole apparatus of judges, police, prisons and gendarmes at the service of the plunderers, and treats the victim - when he defends himself - as a criminal.
