A newly added air defense system. A distinctive security checkpoint. And a triple fence around a bunker. These new security features and other upgrades at a munitions depot in central Belarus reveal that Russia is building facilities there that could house nuclear warheads. If Russia does move weapons to this location, it would mark the first time it has stored them outside the country since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991.
Russia already has nuclear warheads on its own soil that are close to Ukraine and NATO countries, but by basing some in Belarus, Russia appears to be trying to accentuate its nuclear threat and bolster its nuclear deterrent.
Russian President Vladimir Putin made reference to such a site early last year, saying Russia would soon be completing the construction of "special storage for tactical nuclear weapons” in Belarus.

My question to our FR European Cold Warriors is how close to the actual fighting were these supposed to be and what level of security would have protected them? Of course since we have never been on highest tactical and battlefield nuclear alert with WWIII actually raging before, your estimates would be conjecture as well.
Last summer I saw credible evidence that the trial run of the Kursk Pocket offensive was conducted in a mad dash attempt to secure a tactical nuclear arms depot in Belgorod Oblast. I posted, as always, with alarm about this on FR. How could the Russians be so stupid as to place these devices in such obvious jeopardy?

It was obvious to all that the goal of the Kursk Pocket incursion was the Kursk Nuclear PP.
Now Tony Shaffer states that there could be nuclear depots targets in the Kursk region of the Uke incursion as well.
At the 3:00 mark (it’s a great interview)

Imagine the megalomaniac dwarf in the green tee shirt with a depot of nukes he could deploy!!! He’d blackmail the world.

Tony Shaffer - Putin’s a Thug
I had a clearance for tactical nukes when I was on 155s and was packed with winter gear by my off base front door and ready to go during the 1973 world wide alert while my step brother was packed and on the tarmac at the same time.
“Prime Minister Golda Meir authorized a nuclear alert and ordered 13 atomic bombs be readied for use by missiles and aircraft.”
“US forces, including Strategic Air Command, Continental Air Defense Command, European Command and the Sixth Fleet, were placed at DEFCON 3—According to documents declassified in 2016, the move to DEFCON 3 was motivated by CIA reports indicating that the Soviet Union had sent a ship to Egypt carrying nuclear weapons along with two other amphibious vessels. Soviet troops never landed and the declassified documents did not disclose the fate of the ship and its cargo.”
“On October 12, 1973, President Nixon ordered an airlift of supplies and materiel to Israel to resupply Israeli losses. This would be the largest airlift in American history, larger than the Berlin Airlift.”

Snicker…
Always remember,
Look for the “Putin Stooge” libel, news from Ukraine, you’ve gradually grown to trust over the course of 30 months.
Yeah, I’m talking to you, brainiac.
Tell me, in your opinion, if those Russian depots are there, if the Ukes got there with force enough to take them and if the Ukes had CIA “expertise” with them, what scenarios could have transpired.
Thanks for the cataloging of terrifying events that could have destroyed us.
Imagine if those events had transpired during a period of war when U.S. weapons, firing US ammo, targeted by U.S. technicians were in the process of killing anywhere from 60,000 to 500,000 Russian troops.

Like 1973 and the Vietnam war and Russians supplying and actually furnishing combat soldiers that were killing Americans?
No, like when they are eyeball to eyeball in all their tactical nuclear glory on a 2000km front on the highest tactical nuclear alert in history. All this while NATO attacks Russian nuclear early warning radars. Having also just killed hundreds of thousands of Russian boys. Like that, CJ.
You are thrilled to strut your expertise. Now make use of it and answer the damned question.
What is “the highest tactical nuclear alert in history” and why would you lie with this “thrilled to strut your expertise” nonsense?
Why are you always scared to death and raging at people at the same time, don’t you ever reach just normal and well adjusted?
I think user Hardonned or whatever is having some trouble translating his posts into English. Google must be blocked wherever he is.
Bkmk
I wonder where the moron gets it’s “targeted by U.S. technicians” BS from?
See ya, CJ.
hardspunned is thrilled to strut his expertise, he knows things that no one else knows, if you look at his posts he gives very detailed and unique insider analysis with many details and figures and beyond top secret information that leaves us wondering how he knows so much, but he does share it all day long on many, many threads.
i have n0 ideal whut yer tryna say sober up
Russhie could drap one uf dem tackical neoooks on ellensky’s forces in Kursk an he wouldn’ b violatin any international lawrs - own terrritery.
Your attempts at humor suck almost as bad as your attempts to parrot back the administration’s bull $hit. Work on both before you try with me again!

Too funny!
I see you brought the back ups on this thread.
I just had a humorous exchange with one of your Circulars.
