The current six candidates to become Conservative Party leader will face a vote by MPs on Wednesday, when just four will remain.
Two Tory leadership hopeful frontrunners have made their pitch to members and MPs ahead of candidates being whittled down this week.
Kemi Badenoch and James Cleverly launched their campaigns today before the first round of voting on Wednesday, when six candidates will become four.
Ms Badenoch took aim at the Conservative government she was part of as she said it "talked right but governed left", while presenting herself as the only person who could be brutally honest.

It's their primary for "insiders" this week. The MPs will produce 2 for the membership to decide on in further rounds.

Kemi is very conservative and as an immigrant from Nigeria, she is a nightmare for the woke racist left in the UK.
She’s right, but regardless of whether she wins the leadership race or not, I’m done with the Tories. They are institutionally riddled with deception and gaslighting.
Even if Kemi was sincere, I doubt the Conservative Party as an institution would let her govern as a true conservative. Look at what they did to Liz Truss and Kwazi Kwarteng, two Thatcherites who tried to steer the ship around and got crushed by the Bank of England and the City of London. They are the ones who really run the UK and will destroy any elected politician who tries to go against them.

Harris is talking left, and will govern even more left.
What’s the Rwanda scheme?
If the Tories talked right, why did the voters vote even further left? Not articulate in their talk? Cheating?
Conservative Leadership is an oxymoron.
It was a scheme to deport migrants - any illegal - and let them pursue their new life in that country (for a fee to Rwanda’s government for taking them )
It didn’t happen due to legal reasons and then the gov’t changed
