I, like many, are here from immigration, legal though. So my take on Elon especially is this. He took over X, thank goodness, that helped a lot. He fired a large group of "woke techy, well educated folks, who felt entitled. Spoiled brats I would say. The company still ran well, and even better. So would I hire a highly trained woke person, or a highly trained immigrant that would very much appreciate being here. Not talking about the mass migration of unskilled, potentially terrorist type.
Japan has had to finally open it's doors to immigration because of the shrinking population. However they have very strict rules about staying there, and they definitely have to make their own way by working in often difficult situations financially. In other words, they don't have a big welfare system that immigrants can suck off of.
So, our woke government is causing the immigration problem on purpose, yup.

Check out Poso’s post on X, and one of the responses a couple of posts down. It lists all of the categories of those allowed to come in and take jobs through various Hb etc. programs.
It’s legal, but it’s legalized replacement of American workers. Shameful. As Raheem said this morning, these programs are actually something that DOGE needs to slash.
