A Merry belated Christmas to you all! Was busy cooking all morning and then cleaning all evening. In between was fun though.
Going to physical therapy in a bit and then I’ll have the rest of the day and weekend to check in here.
It was easy to feel blessed this year. We have our country back, lots of winning, and we might not have to live in the end times.
Glad you had a fun time, CB!
We had a lovely dinner at Natalie’s home. Everyone there....including the 2 year old who gets into everything. Boy, I’d forgotten how tiring that stage was! Good thing Audrey (10) likes watching her and did the lion’s share of the babysitting!
We had delicious beef tenderloin, grilled shrimp, whipped garlic potatoes, corn, and a salad that was so colorful, full of so many different salady things and feta cheese, gravy, creamy horse radish, and pies and ice-cream for dessert. It was very nice, and we have the gift-giving in perfect order now. We don’t do it! Nobody needs anything. The grandkids have more than enough and Natalie/Matt/Mike/Danielle don’t need anything either. No sense wasting money just for the sake of purchasing a Christmas gift. So, I slip the grands a bit of money, and that’s it. What I do is send money to my two if they need it throughout the year. Best to be there when there’s a real need.
So that’s it for another year. Now the BIG excitement comes in January.....Inauguration Day and perhaps, for us, election announcement! Looking forward to both!
