What’s your target weight?
I’d like to get to about 125 to 120 lbs.
I am a petite woman, ans don’t want that weight back!
I had a lot to overcome between the FX hip and the COPD.
It was a Hella fight, and I wanted to sh**can the while thing more than once!
They say that once you have an exacerbation,
then you will not progress from there,
nor will you the next time.
Don’t you believe it!
If that was true, many of us would not be here today.
The best thing to do (if you can) is MOVE!
Walking is great exercise for the body, and your lungs too!
Stuck in a rocking chair, then ROCK baby!’Use your legs and ROCK!
Grab a couple of cans of soup and
use them like small dumb bells!
Reach for the sky and alternator your arms..
Those small soup cans?
While sitting in your chair, put one
under your foot and roll it back and forth,
then do the other leg, then both!
It sounds silly (and feels silly too) at first.
But soon I was walking well, then became
able to come off my 02 machine for longer periods.
Every little thing you can do, you should do!
It all adds up!
