Rusty thank you for your updates on your daughter-in-law.
We all know it doesn’t look good but we also know that God is the one who is ultimately in charge.
I guess I just this morning realized this was your family in Texas not your Wisconsin family
I only realize that till you mentioned about not being able to go down there. You probably mentioned it and n my reading of the Messages you shared I did not pick up on it.
Would you remind me and maybe all of us again the families configuration?
how many children do they have? Do they have grandchildren yet and how old is she?
It is really pretty here today. we have two decent days temperature wise in a row so I have been trying to get some things done outside , all of these things should’ve been done here five years ago and we’re not just talking about aesthetics.
This afternoon I also need to get the rest of the laundry into the back of the rental vehicle. It is supposed to rain tomorrow and I need to take those things to the laundromat
Either I’ll do them or have them done. Currently, the laundry is next to the deck on wheelchairs under a tarp in bags and baskets.
“God is the one who is ultimately in charge.”
Thanks for the reminder.
This is my son that lives in San angelo where I was living. They have 4 children, 2 are her’s biologically and 2 his. But my son had full custody of his kids since they were very young, and then he married her so they raised all of them together. No grands yet, and she really wants some. Her daughter has been partners with a nice guy for about 3 years, and he has full custody of a little boy. So my DIL took over as his grandma, had him over and they even took him on trips. She told her daughter she might as well marry her BF as they can’t break up and take the little boy from her.
My other son and 2 grands live in Northern Dallas area.
My 2 daughters live here in Wisconsin. One has 2 kids living here, the one I’m staying with for now has 3 kids, but one is going to culinary school in NYC, he also got a dream job at Eleven Madison Park, a world renowned restaurant that is now vegan. We can’t wait for him to cook a few things during Christmas break. I bet you and he would have a great time in the kitchen together.
The granddaughter lives in LA but is here now as she broke her arm and had surgery. The youngest is 9, so I’m enjoying him before he’s too old to hang with grandma.
I’m getting used to the cold, better when the wind isn’t blowing. We live literally 2 blocks from lake Michigan.
I’m praying for you and your family. Sounds like you’re keeping busy. I try to keep busy but after a short time my neck and shoulders need a little rest. It’s irritating. I’m making homemade skin cream for gifts now, but will have to get more supplies to finish. Going to make some soup in a bit.
Take care.
