I watched a bit of the ceremonies. I must be reading too much on the internet - the only thing I wondered when I saw all of those “important” people is how many are as crooked as the day is long, and I wondered how many of them were pedophiles. Lol, nothing jaded about my thinking!
Freezing cold here - high winds, snow, rain, awful night and all through tomorrow.
Audrey (10 year old) is coming over for the day tomorrow to bake pies. My daughter-in-law’s brother ordered 3 of them for a Christmas party he’s attending. He’s giving me $100 for them, so I figured I’d throw in a cheesecake as well....so that’s one apple, one pecan and one pumpkin. Audrey is a great help and she loves baking, so I’ll give her $50 and the other $50 can pay for some of the ingredients. She’s all excited, cute little kid.
Matt went down to Florida yesterday morning to visit Natalie for a few days. Kids are staying with their other grandparents, but that’s only 3 minutes away. Perfect day for baking, that’s for sure.
I hope Matt and Natalie have a great visit.
Audrey is going to learn a lot from you tomorrow. How special!
Really cold up here too,Judy!
17 degrees here right now.
Some precipitation will start @ 2 a.m. and stop @ 8 a.m.
I will be snuggled under my blankets and dreaming!
The fire in the kitchen wood stove is crackling merrily
and it is nice and toasty warm.
I LOVE country living!
