JUST IN: J.D. Vance says as soon as he and Trump assume office, the residents of western North Carolina impacted by hurricane damage will get relief they’re not receiving from the Biden administration.
“It’s a bureaucracy that is moving at the speed of a GLACIER.”
“That’s something that is gonna change IMMEDIATELY.”
Vance says he wants to enable residents to put mobile homes in a floodplain - which isn’t allowed. But most of these areas ARE floodplains... so people have to move hundreds of miles if they can’t get a waiver.
“It’s ridiculous, it’s a atrocious, and we need a government that responds quickly to the needs of its citizens.”
