Trump Derangement Syndrome is very real.

Your niece-in-law must be a right-brained person. My theory is the right-brained people are led by their emotions. Their thinking often falls in line with how they feel. Left-brained people are more analytical, more reasoning in their thinking.

An example I have used is the covid fiasco. When some of the data came out, and I saw that the death rate was actually lower than that of the flu, and various other stats, I decided then and there I would carry on as normal. I would be as frightened of covid as I was of the flu, which was not at all.

Half of the population, however, got their wits scared out of them (intentionally) and many of them are still running around with masks! Once someone has been gripped by an emotion, all the reason in the world will not enter into their thinking. It doesn’t matter if it’s hate, fear, love, jealousy.....any emotion that takes over will control them.

Another example is a late friend who was paralyzed with fear at the thought of thunderstorms. She had to leave work if one was in the forcast. Her apartment had only two small windows, on which she had 2 sets of heavy, dark drapes. She would go home, close the drapes, unplug all appliances (including fridge and stove), and sit in terror until it passed. Nothing had ever happened to her. The building she lived in had never been struck. No lightning had come shooting out of electrical outlets that she knew of, lightning did not come in her window.....it didn’t matter. You could use all of the solid reasoning in the world. She was gripped with fear and that was the end of it.

Hate is the same. Look at the hate that has been orchestrated against President Trump. When you hate someone that much, it is impossible to think anything positive about them. They are consumed with the hate they’ve been fed for 9 years, and that’s why they melt down. Where is all of the hate supposed to go? It leaves them emotionally unstable. America is going to see a lot of people with serious issues when President Trump returns.
