It appears our Asheville meet up is no longer an option for quite a long time. We never set a date anyway.

I feel sadly for the economics of Asheville , as well as the dilemma. The residents are facing with the infrastructure destruction and assault on the economy.

I’m certain the Biden administration will be forthright and helping them right?

I especially think of Biltmore and Grove Park Inn

over the years. I’ve spent Thanksgiving , Christmas and New Year’s, long four or five day weekends there seeing the beauty of the leaves traveling around staying at the Grove Park inn - Probably my all time favorite hotel.

all that is going to be terribly impacted. I have several friends who have children and other relatives stranded in ashville with one of the family went back early in each case to check on the pets and the homes and are now stuck there .

We’ve had issues from the hurricane here but they pale next to other areas

So true about Asheville and there are consequences we don’t even know of. In my cn group A lady from asheville posted about her autologous serum eyedrops which are about four hundred dollars. No water, no power. No ice to buy anywhere so she’ll just have to throw them away and go backwards on her healing

Hubby had no pity this morning said all they needed was a small generator to keep the lights and enough power on for the refrigerators and freezers. I reminded him they were not preppers there, they are a bunch of liberals waiting for big government to help them. So I realized he was right, no pity from me either. Except for the animals and children.
