I’ve been looking at groups that deal with moving to Italy, someone posted this:
Doable, but for us used to US Healthcare, in Italy you’d find long, long wait for Dr appointments, testing and results… free healthcare has major drawbacks. Now, if one can afford private healthcare it’s a different story, but expensive. The only issue that would and does keep me from returning “ home” …
Now that is very strange considering the life expectancy conversation we’ve been having. I’m sure the liberals are all going to say it socialized medicine that keeps everybody healthy. Seems like it would actually be the opposite so our eating habits, if RFK is correct, undos a lot of the good!
Well that wouldn’t bother a Canadian one bit! We’re used to waiting for months and months for critical tests, weeks for doctors’ appointments, and even a year for a specialist appointment! And if you need something like a knee surgery, well, may as well get yourself a wheel chair to get there by the time you’re slotted in!
