Judging by Vivek’s pinned tweet, I’d say he has joined Elon in admitting that the program is deeply flawed and abused, making it just another avenue for border hoppers to be legitimized and undercut Americans.

He’s pivoted to the H-1b program needed to be overhauled, without walking back his comments about Americans being lazy, uneducated and wrapped up in loser culture.

Vivek made the mistake of conflating the two issues. He’s correct about the dismal state of American (and Canadian) culture, but to paint so many Americans as being so useless that a bunch of foreigners are needed to make up for their stupidity is wrong.

The H-1b programs did not start untio 1990’s. America has become the greatest nation on earth without the help of foreigners. Thankfully, America also welcomes people who want the opportunity to strive and succeed, and become American at heart. I don’t believe that’s the case for many of the current crop.

There is no denying, however, that public education has been turned into a joke, in our country as well. The universities have been turned into woke factories.....thus the “From the River to the Sea” crowd. Lots of fixing to do, but it’s hardly most of the country.
