Over 40 people accused of running the largest pharmacy burglary stole approximately $12 million worth of controlled substances, according to an indictment.
The bust is the largest in the history of the Drug Enforcement Administration, according to the Department of Justice.
U.S. Attorney Jonathan D. Ross for the Eastern District of Arkansas said Thursday the group of 42 people worked together to burglarize over 200 pharmacies across 31 states. More than 11 of the affected pharmacies were located in Arkansas, according to Ross.
Ross said the group, based in Houston, Texas, targeted independent, non-chain pharmacies in rural locations and would drive rental cars or take flights to get there. Their pattern would be to go to their selected target locations in the early morning, break the glass and crawl on the floor to avoid motion detectors.

Poorly written.
“More than 11... in Arkansas.” Is that 12? Why not give the precise number. No reason to be vague about that.
what country did they migrate in from.
Don’t know if it’s the same ring. A local pharmacy in S.E. Missouri was broken into during the very early morning hours. The thieves drove north up I-55 breaking into pharmacies in smaller towns on the way. They’d hop off the Interstate, hit a pharmacy and be back on the Interstate before local cops arrived.
The lying media provides no names for suspects.
The corrupt government provides no names.
The media and government are as corrupt as these suspects.
Now, boys and girls, let's take a wild guess on who the perpetrators are. I'm going with ILLEGAL ALIENS.
A nearby small county pharmacy has been hit twice in recent years. Once when the owner was in the hospital recovering from surgery. He had just returned from the operating room when his phone rang. His wife answered it and it was the Sheriff’s Office wanting him to come down to the pharmacy and see what had been taken.
Since not just anyone can do an inventory check, he had to get approval from his insurance company and the state for a fellow pharmacist to do an inventory before his business could reopen.
Burglaries on small locally-owned pharmacies can put them out of business pretty quick. Insurance doesn’t cover all the costs and of course their insurance premium increases.

I did the same. I searched every site that mentioned the story and not a one gave any identifying information.

I saw this movie. Matt Dillon, Kelly Lynch, Heather Graham and guest appearance by William Burroughs. My father in law really liked the film.

With the prices of medicines these days... know wonder!
Medicare has stopped my thyroid meds after paying some of it for 4 years.
The DEA is so damn corrupt...If they ever secured our border they’ll be able to reduce the size/budget of the DEA by 90 percent. Same goes for half the law enforcement agencies.
Tens of thousands die from fentanyl that comes across the border, but the corrupt U.S. government leaves the borders unsecured and wide open.
With upwards of 30+ million illegals in country, these agencies are a joke while they seize and tax Americans for things like border patrol, ICE, DEA etc. We’re all being hoodwinked and looted.

thanx for not using the raisses term: “bad hombres”
Thanks. These smash and grab theft operations, whether committed by one person or a mob, are similar to small military assaults. Overwhelm by force, speed and manpower.
It amazes me that there hasn’t been any serious response to this before. Now foreign prison gangs are stealing entire apartment complexes. Obviously they aren’t running from the law when they do that.
It definitely helps when the Gov. of the state says it’s all imaginary and then threatens the whistleblower for talking about the imaginary apartment pirates.
I agree with every word.
