Toronto’s first black female police superintendent was dinged with a demotion after she admitted to helping several black officers cheat in an attempt to get them promoted.

Trailblazing cop Stacy Clarke was disciplined after it was determined she played a “lead role” in the 2021 corruption scandal, which was ruled Wednesday by a tribunal as “extremely serious” misconduct, the Toronto Star reported.

Elsewhere I read that she is of Jamaican heritage.

And I'm sure she was the most qualified candidate for Toronto Police Chief.

So an honest, capable, merit worthy black or female police officer has to overcome the trashing of their reputation. All will look sideways at them and question if they got where they are because of others in the department who are like her who helped them but didn’t get caught doing it. Thanks, affirmative action and black quotas. For nothing.

“Honesty and integrity are non-negotiable character traits of a police officer...”

But a demotion, as opposed to a firing, is certainly something that was negotiated. She’s damn lucky she somehow got to stay on the police force.

It sounds like stupid people can’t pass the test without illegal help from a fellow stupid, corrupt, black lady cop.

Who needs affirmative action laws, when you have a corrupt, politically appointed black Commissioner who is willing to help blacks cheat to get promotions.

I'm a white female. I worked in uniform for 25 years in NY State's prison system. I started as an officer at Auburn prison, transferred to another facility closer to home the end of 1983. I became eligible to take the Sergeant's exam in 1984, which I passed with a score of 92. The superintendent of my facility told me I would likely be promoted within the next year. It wasn't until later that I learned that Albany had decided to give extra points to minorities who took the same exam, so I ended up waiting 5 years before they reached me on the promotion list, while watching minority officers I worked with who had gotten lower scores be promoted before me.

I lost time in the new title, and the promotional pay that went with it. I also lost seniority in that position, as well as the yearly performance advancement payments during those five years, and any raises that came via union contract negotiations.

All those individuals who were promoted before me, also earned enough time in the title that allowed them to take the promotional exam for Lieutenant. So I lost that capability as well. It was the one and only time that the State of New York had ever given extra points to minorities on its promotional exams. The joke was that at the time, there were far more minority females working in NY State's prison system, than there were white females.

The State averages your pension on the belief that you will die within 15 years of retirement. I'm in my 21st year, and have outlived all the money in my pension fund, so in a way, I got that five years I lost back by living longer than expected.

From the collar up, I thought I was looking at a man.
I understand some women will subdue looking feminine on certain jobs, in order to be treated “just like the guys”, but there’s a limit to everything.

Her unprofessional, untrustworthy, and bigoted behavior should disqualify her for any future promotions. She is lucky not to be straight out fired, and with Zee-Ro benefits!

Leftist culture opened the door to all this type of crap, the outcome of which is definitely not beneficial to blacks but detrimental to them, as it shows that any black who achieves a position of authority clearly is not qualified to be there. Of course, the entire exercise of pandering to blacks by leftists has also meant precisely that blacks were excused from demonstrating that they are qualified simply because they are black - the methods by which to judge who is qualified were ‘racist’ and thus blacks could bypass them. The outcome? Unqualified blacks acting just like any person regardless of color/race etc. would act once in such a position. How this helps blacks I cannot see. Who benefits? Leftists benefit and at the same time are never held accountable for the failures of their policies.

[...] she did it in “a desperate effort to level the playing field.” “I felt at the time that (the six officers) did not have a fair chance in this process and my own history and experience of racial inequity compounded this feeling,” Clarke insisted in an internal report.

  1. She is completely unrepentant.
  2. We can safely infer that her reference to her "own history" indicates that she, herself, owes her position as Superintendent to discriminatory practices and that she is therefore unqualified.
  3. She obviously believes that Canada is a racist country.
  4. She is herself a racist.

It was the one and only time that the State of New York had ever given extra points to minorities on its promotional exams.

That was the only part of your story that I have difficulty buying.

Nevertheless: Congratulations on "outliving" the system.
