You are making a mistake to compare the Kamala Harris situation to a normal political party nomination process.
You say, sarcastically, “where’s the convention bounce?” when there was never a convention, she’s not an ordinary candidate, and if elected will be our second “not really President” President.

If you want to see a REALLY scary poll (with results so ludicrous that they MUST be fake -- hopefully), look at this one. It's ostensibly for a House race that shouldn't even be close, but it includes Presidential & Senate data for that district:

I saw a video of Mark Halperin warning Dems that various private polls do not show Harris in the lead and that the future might not look as good for her as they might expect.
I also heard that there’s an Iowa poll that is currently being held back that people in private claim shows Trump a whopping 19% up. Iowa was of course an Obama state, and one would think it might have some implications for how Wisconsin goes.
