Hill can speak and think on her feet. Like her or not she is a leader—Ruthless to be true, but no one’s cats paw. Kammy had no choice—she had to do something. I would hate to be the reporter doing the interview. Comedown too soft and your dismissed as a Left wing shill. Comedown too strong and your seen as a Trump loving thug. I bet Walz will do all the talking and that would be bad for Kammy. A few laughs and a stammering word salad will sink her bid. Mistake to have Walz on with her—it brings home her weakness. It is exactly why she was put in the VP slot - because she isn’t a threat or could do serious damage (other than totally neglect the border - her one JOB. They all figured Biden is safe with her as backup. Nobody would take him out for fear she’s waiting. But it turns out they thought wrongly. Biden and the MSM and Democrats thought they could get away with his dementia. They just didn’t take “We beat Medicare” into account.
So, in this chaperoned interview she can defer to Tampon Timmy whenever a toughie question comes up, or he can just chime right in and take it. In the end, she gets all the praise and none of the blame.
