The most interesting factual bit that came out is that Iran was hoping to harm Trump and his candidacy. Just because these “accounts” were based overseas, does not mean his handlers necessarily were foreign. Anyone can set up a foreign account. Don’t be mislead.

Foreign-based encrypted accounts are not mysterious or sinister. If you have an account with a bank in Canada, it’s foreign and it’s encrypted.

Lots of folks have messaging (email) accounts with foreign companies. It's not illegal and it's not unusual. Remember, it's the world-wide web.

I think it’s more likely that we just have some folks here who are anxious to make a ‘conspiracy’ out of any detail they can hang one on.

It doesn’t appear like money was a motivator. Prolly driven by something else.
Someone needs to look into the frequency and timing of when he used those types of communications. And soon, because he may well have been communicating with confederates.
This in itself is part of the cover-up. It assumes that there’s some doubt as to any of this.
