As a person not “familiar with the matter” I say enjoy your high tech, computerized internet age.

-—A Luddite

Does everyone know that the local small town and large city water and sewage treatment systems have been shut off and on as tests by foreign cyberattackers over the past few years? If one get turned off and then back on too soon in a real attack it would burn out a huge device that takes months to manufacture and transport across freeways to replace it. Disaster to go without water or any use of toilets for weeks or months.

My idea: get them offline.

From what I’ve read, it appears the best protection against foreign cyberattacks is using antiquated computers.

Use Lotus Notes 8.5 as a platform.

It’s so old, clunky, and unfriendly.

The company was also working with "leading external experts" to fix the issue...

Is that because they fired their own cheap labor 20 something IT guru guys about an hour after it happened when they couldn't fix things? /sarcasm
