I watched the RNC mostly on C-SPAN… I didn’t want to miss any of the speakers.

Are you sure they weren't talking about the IDF (Israeli Defense Force)?

If they were, indeed, referencing In Vitro Fertilization, then probably to lock down the gay vote (gays love IVF - for obvious reasons).
