CHICAGO — There was a moment after Vice President Kamala Harris was tapped to run for president, when pro-Palestinian activists prepping massive demonstrations at the Democratic National Convention paused to rethink their approach.
The main organization corralling more than 200 groups to protest at the convention, March on the DNC 2024, met for about half an hour the day Harris announced her candidacy. The meeting was to consider whether to move forward with the same confrontational approach they had aimed at President Joe Biden, who they dubbed “Genocide Joe” for his policies on Israel.
Harris, despite being part of the Biden administration, was seen by some as being more sympathetic to the pro-Palestinian cause and made a forceful case for a cease-fire deal after meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netantyahu.
“We all came to a consensus that it's not going to make a difference, that [Harris] represents this administration,” said Hatem Abudayyeh, chair of the U.S. Palestinian Community Network. "We're going to stay full steam ahead."
And he noted, his organization referred to Harris as “Killer Kamala” even before she topped the ticket and continues to push for harsher restrictions on the Israeli government, like an arms embargo — something that a top Harris adviser has said she doesn't support.

Why are they protesting the Democrats when they will hate the election of Trump much worse? Or do they really believe their protests will alter Democrat policies if Kamala is elected?

This is a Hamas vs. PLO sort of thing. They have the same end goals, but violently disagree on the timeline.

A few years back I remember calling Seattle an amusement park for anarchists.
It was called CHAZ.
The area was declared the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone - or Chaz, for short. It was to be a police-free, self-governing utopia. A few days later, in an interview with CNN on 11 June, the city’s Democratic mayor Jenny Durkan said the zone could herald a “summer of love”.
Well I think it is coming to Chiraq this week but I’m also sure CNN will call the rioting mostly peaceful.
The media will ignore these stooges for the Iranian regime and concentrate of how wonderful and fantastic Harris and her war hero running mate are.
They will also ignore Trump, unlike Biden whom they covered every day during the Republican convention... Showing his meanderings and stumbling until they finally diagnosed him with Covid just to shut him up.
These Antifa types, non-binary losers. I wouldn’t put anything past these Black Hat Mengeles.

TPTB are desperately trying to portray the Democrats and Harris as being reasonable, forceful, and determined to bring peace to the Middle East, when in reallity they are none of those.
Accordingly, the Democrats are encouraging (and likely helping to organize) these protests to fool the voters into thinking that it is not they, but Trump, who is the hateful warmonger, much like they manipulated the J6 peaceful protest into a propagandist’s dream to slander the Right.

Think of the protestors as typical leftist Democrats (formerly called “liberals”). They’re never satisfied, no matter what issues they manage to coerce, bribe or threaten into achievement. No matter how much damage their asinine goal does to a nation, any nation...they’re always still unhappy. It’s how they roll. Perpetually. They represent a certain segment of our species (supposedly)... that will even be protesting in Hell, once they get there.... much to their chagrin. They just can’t help it.
The media will claim the temperature in Chicago has fallen to 55-60 degrees, so all those fires are just to keep protesters warm....That’s all....
Many of the Antifa scum are anarchists. I think the bigger problem might be the local riff raff and all their guns. With the city full of targets of opportunity and looting that’s guaranteed to be epic, how can locals not get a share? It’s a shame we couldn’t have had the Bulls win a championship the same week.
The Dems just love dividing people into special interest identity groups in order to keep them dependent.
What if a few of these groups coalesced into their own, competing party?
I mean, who's gonna throw their bail? Somehow I doubt they can count on Kamala this time.
Anyway, what's the point? Everything's already decided, they don't need input from you.
But go ahead and demonstrate outside if you like, the TV crews will need something slightly less boring than what's going on inside. You might get some airtime, that is unless they see one TRUMP or STEIN sign in the crowd. Then it's the graybar hotel for you.
So it is just a form of ‘triangulation’. Harris is not Trump, and not the crazy, lefty Antifa thugs. Like Goldilocks, she is “just right”....
The Hamas faction is a small group but they are terrorists to the core and downright scary..gee they dont think that Harris is anti Israel, anti Jew enough..trust me she is..watch Mark Levin from last night, he went through point by point who Harris associates with, Jew haters, and I dont give a damn that her husband is Jewish I doubt they’ve even slept together..she hates Jews and she hates Israel, period

Israel isn’t going anywhere or if it is, it will be taking out a lot others with it. The Arabs and Persians will be better off if there are no wars or threats of wars and Trump’s policies might well achieve that.
But then trying to make sense of pro-Hamas people will make any tool in the shed dull. They hate America and the West and are trying to do their bit to tear both down.

I look for elements of this demonstration to break into the convention hall and even take hostages.

I wondered myself and the only conclusion I could come up with is they want her out and someone that is far more radical that wants to destroy us and Israel. They’re evil and that’s what evil does..

Nothing less than a complete denouncement of Israel by the DNC party and their 2024 platform will ease their mental angst and stop them from throwing their hissy fit in the middle of aisle 5.
