Hours after California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a crime bill to stop "smash and grabs," a bicycling mob ransacked three Hollywood 7-Eleven stores in under 25 minutes.

NBC Los Angeles reported that the first store was hit shortly after 8 pm. The bike gang reportedly broke into the store, stealing food and beverages, and left the store with a broken window. Just 16 minutes later, a second 7-Eleven near Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue was attacked, during which an employee was allegedly assaulted. A third store on Santa Monica Boulevard was hit at 8:22 pm.

Yes, just one more law will fix it all up.

The previous million bad laws caused it and these idiot politicians think that just one more law will undo all the damage the preceding idiot politicians caused.

A common term comes to mind, “Too little, too late”.

CCW would go a long ways towards fixing this!

When every citizen might be carrying, criminals get a LOT more cautious!

“The bill will make organized retail theft punishable by up to three years of jail time for possessing “more than $950 of stolen goods with intent to sell, exchange, or return the goods.” “

So stealing it for personal use it’s just fine, and if it’s less than $950 then it’s OK to resell it too.

The bill itself should be classified as a crime - it’s aiding and abetting criminals!

Yes, that indicates that Newsom's strategy to get the thieves to Laugh Themselves To Death has a chance of working.

You're not supposed to notice that, let alone say it.

Not exactly what we used to mean by "biker gang" but it will certainly suffice. This, though, this is hardly what I'd call cracking down:

The bill will make organized retail theft punishable by up to three years of jail time for possessing "more than $950 of stolen goods with intent to sell, exchange, or return the goods."

"Your Honor, my client did take $900 of ice cream without paying for it but it was all for personal consumption."

Rudy took back NYC because he imposed consequences even for minor offenses which was called the broken windows policy.

Kalifornia policy has failed because it is trying to mitigate the consequences based on demographics.

Failed Kalifornia policies have been about reverse discrimination.

In the 20th century minorities were discriminated against as they often got harsher punishment.

In the 21st century minorities are discriminated for not against as the law attempts to give them lesser punishment and too often none at all.

Yep. All idiots in government think “just one more law will fix everything bad we did with all the previous laws.”

I actually got a mailer for a Dem running for the CA State Assembly (the lower house). He actually bragged “I’m the most prolific lawmaker in the state.”!

Perps will now be delayed in the store while adding up values of their loot,
allowing lightning quick LEO response for later Soros DA dismissal.

Life is good

Go boink yourself, Guvnah! Look out 7-11? I imagine the Queen of Kingston and Washington already has a weird “fix” for this.
