The United States, Egypt, and Qatar presented Hamas and Israel with a “bridging proposal” for the Gaza ceasefire and hostage deal after holding talks in Doha on Thursday and Friday.
This is a document aimed at birding the gaps between Israel and Hamas when it comes to the implementation of the three-phase hostage deal US President Joe Biden first unveiled in Washington on May 31.
The White House said that another summit would be held in Cairo at the end of next week with an eye to securing a final agreement.
“Senior officials from our governments will reconvene in Cairo before the end of next week with the aim to conclude the deal under the terms put forward today,” it said, in a joint statement it put out together with Qatar and Egypt.
Those two Arab countries have been the main mediators for the deal, with the support of the US.

The moslem psychopaths and their Western stooges are playing this thing masterfully!
What, Hamas amends its charter and agrees to live peacefully with Israel as 2 separate states?
The bridging proposal is that the Jews just march into the sea. Then no negotiations are necessary. That is the Biden proposal. //sarc// They are desperate to get a deal done by the DNC Convention, and if every Jew in Israel dies, OK. “If the Prosecutor is not fired, you don’t get the money. Call Obama!” Joe Biden...If you don’t do the deal, you don’t get the weapons! Sound familiar? Biden’s ‘Art of the Deal’.
Sorry, I don't buy this BS at all. When I hear Israel state they are ready to have a cease fire implemented, then I'll believe it.
There will be no cease fire agreement under these terms because everything is contingent upon the release of hostages.
Hamas no longer has control of the majority of the hostages and cannot deliver the people to complete the deal.
Some of the hostages have probably been transported out of Gaza via the Rafah Tunnels into Egypt to put them out of the grasp of IDF rescue teams.
Israel has now shut down the tunnels and there is no easy to get them back into Gaza for a prisoner exchange.
No way does Egypt or any other Arab country want to admit that Israeli hostages have been held in their country.
This may help explain the total freak out that the Biden Administration, Egypt and the EU went through when the IDF went into Rafah and shut down the tunnel network that the Egyptians assured Israel had been shut down.
A desperate Hamas keeps playing the game to stall for time before they have to admit the truth and get blasted by negative world opinion.
