Isn’t this how prepaying for gasoline started? I mean it would go against the way restaurants have operated since forever but they maybe could have tried that. Maybe they concluded SF just isn’t worth it period.
I have ate at some Denny’s where after dinning I felt they should pay me!!
Being able to eat and then pay is hallmark of a high-trust society. We no longer live in a high-trust society.
I imagine it's only a matter of time before you pay for your food (and a 20% tip) and the time it's ordered. This will become the new normal.
