College girlfriend opened an cannabis shop in Seattle when it went legal there. Closed within a year. Taxes, business fees, overhead, wages, bene’s, just no way she could come even close to competing with the street weed. Better quality and more selection, but that’s just a small slice of the market. Most of the market is hood rats and teen/20-something wanting a cheap buzz.

That is a great education for her—worth a lot more than years in college.

Well, here in SE WA State we have no hood rats and the customer base is split about evenly between your young cheap buzz types and gray hairs looking for medical uses. In fact, sometimes when I drive by the shop during the daytime it’s almost all gray hairs.
