You don’t have to go as far away as the Soviet Union, why just 90 miles from
Key West there are plenty of Govt run grocery stores in Cuba! And just take a look at how well that’s going.

When I visited New York City, I would often eat very reasonably priced fruit sold by stores and street vendors.

We are returning to where a customer presents a list and grocery clerks fill the order then pack it up in parcels and load it on the customer’s vehicles, all after payment done. No customer and product interaction at all.

progressive” euphemism for epidemic and uncontrollable shoplifting and unsafe environments for employees and customers due to police and courts refusing to enforce the law ... how will those factors be any different for grocer stores in those same neighborhoods operated by government contractors?
