Don't drive on coastal roads while relying on GPS. A couple cars went off the Devil's Slide cliffs here recently, near SF. (One intentionally, the other accidentally.)
Not clear on what relying on GPS has to do with staying on the asphalt surface, for a human driver at least. Even less if one incident was a suicide.
