The election process as we grew to know it is gone and it’s not coming back.
It’s coming back in Virginia.
Governor @GlennYoungkin stands for election integrity and is leading the nation in securing the vote:
“We have 100% paper ballots in Virginia; we have counting machines, not voting machines; those counting machines are not hooked up to the internet; every single drop box is secure and monitored for 24/7, and we do not do mass mailings of ballots.”
Eight states have enacted voter ID laws since the 2020 election, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures: Arkansas, Idaho, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio and Wyoming.
Nevada voters may decide in November whether they should join three dozen other states in requiring voters to present valid identification before casting a ballot. And Maine may not be far behind, as the push for voter ID requirements grows nationwide despite conflicting studies over their effects.
