IMHO,
The fine should be commensurate with the political damage and damage to American’s voting. That’s a tough number to come up with, but in general, that’s has to be upward of 15 billion. Since the Government combined with the DNC and political opponents, it’s violated it’s own racketeering statutes. That means Trump should be eligible for 12 times the damages, or about 130 Billion.
That might get the attention of the Taxpayer.
I was thinking $475M would be appropriate.
If he wins, the taxpayers will be on the hook for the payment. A better outcome would be to fire everyone involved and take away their pensions. That would save taxpayer money.
Bump!!!
Good. That’s the only thing that will get their attention.
The US Gov doesn’t care about legality, Illegality, or constitutionality. Money, on the other hand…

35 trillion in debt? they don’t care about money
counter warfare from trump might get through to them?

“He’ll have to navigate that situation. Maybe offer to donate the money to charity or something.”
No need to donate legitimate damages to anyone. He can simply entrust his newly confirmed Attorney General to do what is best in the pursuit of justice.

I like the way you think!
They need to emphasize the FBI’s request to use “deadly physical force” during the raid if the need arose. If they had to ask permission to use it, then it wasn’t standard procedure for other raids, and was only requested for this specific raid.
Raiding Trumps’ property over a law that is seldom (if ever) enforced? He should sue for more, but maybe there are limits on that kind of suit.
The downside of suing Uncle Sam is that the taxpayer pays the costs of the whole thing.
No. He needs to keep every dime if he wins. They tried to bankrupt him. He didn’t receive any pay as president in his first term.
