Tony Robbins once said, in order to bring balance back to the middle, the extreme needs to be countered with the opposite extreme. I think that was Cowboys point. The only flaw I see in that argument is that the Commies are also the Fascists, therefore the opposite extreme is MAGA. If the USA falls, so does the rest of the world.

And the Democrats know this and are hoping for this. But yest again, there is a flaw. Let’s say the rats do destroy America as land of the free and home of the brave. They will still have to deal with radical Islam, which they are not prepared to do.

In a world where Radical Islam and Communist Totalitarianism are the two dominant political ideologies, the last war will be nuclear and the end of civilization. The idea of personal liberty is what keeps us from devolving into animals.

Side note. I heard Rush a few times talk about the actor who played this character. Rush said he was a great conservative. And basically had very kind words about him.

The never Trump posters and others that I believe are probably plants sent to demoralize us, in effect have almost ruined Free Republic for conservatives who have a disagreement with Trump on character or policy. Its become darn near impossible to determine who is genuine in their critiques and who isn’t. This is not our fault.

Another thing. The first consideration anyone posting to a rally thread or thread of this nature is knowledge that the group posting is fully behind President Trump and posts therefore need to be respectful of that.

Just my two cents. And BTW, these posters here critical of us and of Trump for whatever reason, you have destroyed your goal. All you have done, especially in my case, is to make me more determined than even 2015 to fight for, to support and to vote for Trump.

I got through to Rush once! It was December 1993, I was 19 years old. I told him that I found his book on sale in an English bookstore in Brussels. He sounded impressed. At the start of the call I gave a shout-out to my coworkers at the seafood restaurant I was part-time at. For the next two weeks we got slammed with customers wanting to meet "that nice young man who talked with Rush" :-)

I was able to record the call, I still have the tape too. Maybe someday I'll convert it to digital and post it on my website.
