Exactly the same thing as 2020...but Trump has to have a reliable stream of funding to fight back, and the only times he has raised significant amounts of money from the base was after his conviction and after the assassination attempt. The base has largely abandoned him and all other GOP candidates in recent years, leaving them twisting in the wind to a massive Democrat onslaught with no way to fight back.
The fantasy version of Biden in 2020 vs. their caricature of Trump dominated the narrative and were the candidates many people chose between then. Likewise, a fantasy version of Harris v. a caricature of Trump is what many people are being introduced to now and will be voting come election time. All controlled entirely by the Democrats as the base continues to sit on their behinds and keep their wallets closed...then they’ll blame it all entirely on fraud as though being massively outraised, outspent, out marketed, out messaged, out organized, and outworked has zero impact on election outcomes.

I can’t believe Trump is broke.
The only reason I haven’t donated yet is because of the bad taste in my mouth that WinRED gave me in 2020. I donated $500 to Trump in October and then $200 to Stop the Steal in November, both via WinRED. When I looked at my December statement, they’d taken out $1300! Apparently, there was a note in tiny print that by donating I was agreeing to weekly donations. Just didn’t expect such duplicity from a conservative organization.
