“Mass Deportation Now!” declared the signs at the Republican National Convention, giving a full embrace to Donald Trump’s pledge to expel millions of migrants in the largest deportation program in American history.
Some Republicans aren’t quite ready for that.
Lauren B. Peña, a Republican activist from Texas, said that hearing Trump’s calls for mass deportations, as well as terms like “illegals” and “invasion” thrown around at the convention, made her feel uncomfortable. ...
“He’s not meaning to go and deport every family that crosses the border, he means deport the criminals and the sex offenders,” Peña said.
But Trump and his advisers have other plans. He is putting immigration at the heart of his campaign to retake the White House and pushing the Republican Party towards a bellicose strategy that hearkens back to the 1950s when former President Dwight D. Eisenhower launched a deportation policy ... “Operation Wetback.”
Trump, when pressed for specifics on his plan in an interview with Time Magazine this year, suggested he would use the National Guard, and possibly even the military, to target between 15 million and 20 million people...
Sen. James Lankford, an Oklahoma Republican, pointed to over 1 million people who have already received a final order of removal from an immigration judge and said, “There’s a difference between those that are in the process right now and those that are finished with the process.”
...
Other Republicans, including Floridians Sen. Marco Rubio and Rep. Mario Diaz Balart, suggested Trump in the White House would prioritize migrants with criminal backgrounds.
...
Trump has worked closely with Stephen Miller, ... [who] describes a Trump administration that will work with “utter determination” to accomplish two goals: “Seal the border. Deport all the illegals.”

Then she is a liberal. Her “feelings” matter more than facts and reality. People like this disgust me. Go on and be a democrat, Peña, because that’s what you are
Is Commie La going to steal this one too?
“Trump is putting mass deportations at the heart of his campaign. Some Republicans are worried”
Probably worried about winning.
There is only one issue that matters to me this election. Are we to remain a sovereign nation or not? If Trump loses will no longer be a sovereign nation.
Ass Press always knows what RINO/RATs want and tell us how worried they are. LOL Trump gets thunderous applause when he mentions deportation. I notice black people like that idea a lot.
Yes, she’s clearly happy with the illegals and prefers facilitating the invasion. I’m more upset with Lankford, Rubio, and Dias Balart who want to minimize it before it even gets started.
Won’t happen as the Democrats and the Deep State will hogtie Trump from doing anything legally as the Democrats are arranging a army of Lawyers and Law firms to tie anything does in State and Federal courts...
Some Republicans aren’t quite ready for that.

Some Republicans (lots of them actually) who want cheap labor and more customers for their corporate pals.
That’s the part that is real—Americans want mass deportation. It is the top issue. At the Vance event that I attended, the difference in response to mass deportation vs any other issue was absolutely night and day. That’s not so obvious in the live streamed with the audience response is intentionally muted so that the speak is always heard.
He’s going to implement President Eisenhower’s government program ‘Operation Wetback’ on steroids.
BTTT
“Probably worried about winning.”

You NAILED IT.
Republicans are not at all comfortable with the concept of leading. They like being spectators, not players.
Worried about what? If you come to a country illegally, you should be deported for the one thing you’ve already done... Entering that country illegally.
If you’re already breaking the law, what are the chances that you won’t break it again when you’ve been forgiven for already breaking the law once?
Some republicans = globalist establishment republicans
A nice dream for sure...
Like Lauren B. Peña, a RINO activist from (AUSTIN?) Texas, said that Trump fellow makes me nervous.
She is a traitor, she should be uncomfortable.
AP article.
RINOs worried.
Bush Repubs worried.
NTers worried.
Illegal aliens and open borders are the number one concern (or at least #2) with the majority of Americans. Trump needs to ignore the nay-sayers and Deport Baby Deport. He need merely point to England.
