I think they had resigned themselves to losing with Joe. As soon as Scamala was installed, they had hope. Now they can play the race and gender cards! They can even play the age card against Trump, which they couldn’t do when Biden was the nominee. Now they smell victory. Yeah, they probably are pretty happy.
I’m sure their internal polling tells a much different story. They’re just trying to sway public opinion at this point. Don’t believe the hype, especially WRT to the swing states.
