Vice President Kamala Harris once again used her fake southern accent to speak with auto workers in Detroit, Michigan, on Thursday.
The accent raises concerns about Harris’s sincerity. Voters are often attuned to inauthentic politicians.
Two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, for example, used a fake accent in 2016, when former President Donald Trump defeated her in a historic victory.
“You know the one thing about all of us is we like hard work. Hard work is good work. Hard work is good work,” Harris said with a twang.
“The thing that we like about hard work is we have fun doing hard work,” she said.

Because she thinks that’s the way everyone talks in Flyover Country. She must really loathe normal people.
Usually, politicians are bright enough to at least use a region-appropriate accent when pandering.
Apparently, Heels-up is either dumb enough to think that a Southern accent is what “blue-collar” sounds like regardless of what part of the country you’re in, or is dumb enough to think that a Southern accent makes her more “relatable” somehow, regardless of the audience.

Michigan is midwest. We don’t talk with a southern accent in the midwest. Not sure what the brilliant plan was there. To appear more relatable to “working people”?
That woman must equate speaking with a southern accent to low intelligence and also equate low intelligence to auto workers. I don't see any other explanation.

She probably won’t even do a debate. This is pathetic. She says nothing of substance and nobody is even interested in her even having a press conference.
She hasn’t received a single vote in any process and is one step away from being POTUS.
She hasn’t answered any questions.

You are 100% correct. The woman is such a bigoted idiot that she thinks a fake “Gomer” accent is all it takes to fool people she views as ignorant trash. Southerners and blue collar workers are just ants beneath her lofty heels, too dumb to recognize condescension when it spits in their faces.
What business does Harris have talking about WORK? Has she ever had a hard labor job in her life?
