So now law-abiding visitors to the fair will be disarmed and the law-ignoring criminals at the fair will be armed.
How will that help?!?
I imagine they will be metal detectors at the entrance. That is done at the large fair in our neck of the woods. And it’s big, with more than a million people in attendance every year. It takes almost no time to go through.
Not saying it’s a great idea…but we haven’t had a shooting. We have gangs slapping at each other though. These days that would have likely been shooting at each other.
One would need to bar other things to prevent that stuff.
