We can't run a "lose to win" strategy. We have to take all the shots as they are presented. We can't hold back because we think it would be more damaging after the convention, because the opportunities might not be there at that time.

Exactly. Especially when the news is coming out like a fire hose. I think somebody will save the most embarrassing info in some kind of archive like a "mashup" of video clips. You may have noticed it's damn hard to embarrass lefties, but independent voters may wonder why they are NOT embarrassed.
