I would agree with Fetterman's assessment. Shapiro was dropped because he was seen as outshining Harris and he has political ambitions that could cause division in a Harris/Shapiro administration. I don't think Josh being Jewish was the deciding factor in him not being picked - MHO.

I hope reports that Shapiro bowed out are true, as his ambitions do not include being a loser on a Harris/Shapiro ticket...he’d rather see her lose to clear the field for 2028. I think Newsom and Whitmer are hoping the same.
