CELLAR monster Josef Fritzl is enjoying life in a luxury prison cell with an en-suite shower and his own minder.
Fritzl, 89, was jailed for life in 2009 after keeping his daughter locked up as his sex slave for 24 years.
The Austrian fiend, who fathered seven kids with her, was moved from a high-security psychiatric unit to a normal prison earlier this year.
Now his lawyer Dr Astrid Wagner has told The Sun on Sunday the beast is “thrilled” with a “nice and spacious” cell to himself with a shower.
And he has reportedly grown close to another inmate who is acting as his “bodyguard”.
Dr Wagner insisted even Fritzl “has the right to be treated well”.
Fritzl began molesting Elisabeth when she was 11, before imprisoning her in a filthy cellar in Amstetten near Vienna in 1984.
Three of the children he fathered lived with his daughter in windowless, soundproofed rooms behind a reinforced concrete door, three were raised upstairs in the house, and one died shortly after birth.
Fritzl is said to have burned the tragic baby’s body in an incinerator and scattered the ashes in the garden.
His crimes came to light in 2008 when the eldest of the children, Kerstin, became seriously ill and had to be taken to hospital.

Only the good die young...
Unbelievable.
Why?
What did he care?
She wouldn’t fit in the furnace?
The stratospheric levels of suffering simply boggle the mind.
All these children, emotionally, physically, socially deprived of a normal life, at least until they were found and released by the police. All the personal barriers now breeched, left undefended. Perhaps a few of them have been able to melt into normal society, although I’m surprised at least one of them has not stepped forward to the public, ready to
‘Tell All’ in their book of documentary interview.
