Liberals of all stripes love ambiguity, because it fully supports their main philosophical pillar of “Everything is relative, to what we/I believe, this moment.” They approach laws to undo those that are absolute and to re-imagine (redefine meaning(s) of) those same laws, or create new ones that fully support only their view.
The only absolute for liberals is that anyone else is not just wrong, but should likely be in jail or dead.
