When a Article V convention does happen, first thing is to remove the Freedom of the Press references in the First Amendment. Since they no longer represent the people as oversight of government operations, there is no longer a need to protect them.

I do see what you are saying. However, I do believe that America does need a Free Press.

Look at the UK as an alternative. They have tried a government-run Press and it is even worse than ours.

I think that America’s problem is that we let the Left define things for us. We should push back and argue clearly that we do NOT have a free press. We have a politicized and one-sided press which distorts information. Any federal government involvement with this is infringement.

No White House Press room would be a good start - turn it into urinals. No Federal “Press” passes or special access for political activists - this infringes on freedom.

The Constitution is actually pretty good. We need to stop letting the Left tell us what it says.

DHS put Tulsi on double secret probation
“The whistleblowers first shared the information with Sonya LaBosco, the Executive Director of the Air Marshal National Council (AMNC), a national advocacy group for the Federal Air Marshals (FAMs). According to LaBosco, at least one of the whistleblowers is ready to go on the record with pertinent documentation. LaBosco shared that Gabbard is unaware she has two Explosive Detection Canine Teams, one Transportation Security Specialist (explosives), one plainclothes TSA Supervisor, and three Federal Air Marshalls on every flight she boards. LaBosco has attempted to contact Gabbard and her staff but has not received a response.”
This is the walking corpse’s doing. She quit the dem party.
Probably costs millions of dollars to surveil her, plus all the people that lose seats on planes when she flies

I am of the opinion that where the First Amendment says:
“freedom of speech and freedom of the press”
it simply meant the spoken word and the printed word.
the soapbox, handbills, and broadsides were used at the time.

There were no “members of the press” back then.
That is a concept that has evolved over the years.
