Former President Donald Trump reacted to stock markets plunging on Monday, presenting voters with a clear choice in November.
“STOCK MARKETS ARE CRASHING, JOBS NUMBERS ARE TERRIBLE, WE ARE HEADING TO WORLD WAR lll, AND WE HAVE TWO OF THE MOST INCOMPETENT “LEADERS” IN HISTORY. THIS IS NOT GOOD!!!” he posted on Truth Social.
He later added: “VOTERS HAVE A CHOICE — TRUMP PROSPERITY, OR THE KAMALA CRASH & GREAT DEPRESSION OF 2024, NOT TO MENTION THE PROBABILITY OF WORLD WAR lll IF THESE VERY STUPID PEOPLE REMAIN IN OFFICE. REMEMBER, TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING!!!”
He also weighed in early on Monday on Instagram, posting:
STOCK MARKETS CRASHING. I TOLD YOU SO!!! KAMALA DOESN’T HAVE A CLUE. BIDEN IS SOUND ASLEEP. ALL CAUSED BY INEPT U.S. LEADERSHIP!
Major stock indexes fell sharply on Monday morning, reflecting heightened fears that the U.S. economy may be headed for a serious economic slump, as Breitbart News’ John Carney reported.
Carney noted: “Politics may be playing a role. Vice President Kamala Harris has risen in the polls, with some election forecasts now saying she is slightly favored to win in November. The market had been rising during the months when Trump was seen as the winner.”

Agreed 100%. Just stick to the economy and the border even when the media tries to bait him into talking about physical characteristics such as race & gender. Unfortunately, Trump takes the bait way too often and gives the media and the dems a cudgel to use against him in the news cycle while avoiding any discussion of policy, which is a huge weakness for the dems.
I hope Trump continues to focus like a laser on policy. He is not converting any undecideds by talking about cackling kamala's ethnic background. It is irrelevant, which is why the media and dems focus on it entirely.

Two consecutive quarters of negative gross domestic product growth indicate a recession. Since we haven’t had even one yet, there’s no way we can technically be in one on Election Day.
As to the market, even with today’s sell-off the S&P 500 Index is still up 10.6% year-to-date.
The bottom line, though, is that 90% of Americans don’t follow the markets closely. It’ll take a lot more days like today before the decline registers in a way which would meaningfully impact the election.
And what if the Fed cuts and we bounce from here? Still insignificant politically.

Sir, that might look like a crazy gain at first glance, but do you know what that return that is on annualized basis? 6.1%. Not terrible, but below the Dow’s historical average of 9.9%. Nothing to brag about for Biden-Harris.
