I still think Gabbard would have brought more voters in, but Vance helps in Pennsylvania through Minnesota, with workers, especially unions, and with veterans, stressed families, etc. In the long run, for me, he’s a reassuring voice to counter Trump’s wobbliness on issues, his more liberal illegal loving family (e.g., Ivanka). I think Vance will help kill H1B, even despite his friendship with Ramaswammy. He keep a tight focus on driving out illegals. Hopefully he’ll help bring more discipline to Trump on issues, more consistency. Time will tell with what role Trump gives him in the administration, if any.
