A Republican election official who has been overseeing the voting process in Arizona's most populous county for the last four years was just voted out in Tuesday night's GOP primary.

After the GOP primary results were announced, both moderate conservatives and independents mourned Richer's loss. 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang tweeted that Richer losing the primary was a "terrible sign for the AZ Republican Party," and noted that he "stood up for election integrity despite threats and attacks."

"Much love and gratitude to Stephen Richer and the rest who took abuse for doing their jobs with integrity in Maricopa County," tweeted Bulwark podcast host Tim Miller.

All the "moderate conservatives" and "independents" (i.e. Democrats) just loved it that the "Republican" vote counter was for the Democrat candidates on the ballot...and did WHATEVER he had to do to be oh so helpful.

Generally speaking, when someone is described in the media as MAGA or extreme, I hear: Right thinking.

And Kari Lake will lose again.

Congrats Arizona. You could have won this Senate seat with Mark Lamb.

The GOP...experts at snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory.

Obviously, if Andrew Yang 'mourns' the loss of Richer, it's a proof positive indication that Richer was working against the GOP.

Begone!!! Traitor!

LOL Andrew Yang? The guy is a communist. If he is lamenting the loss it has to be a good thing,

Richer was the smug RINO POS who oversaw Kari Lake's election where 65% of the machines broke down on election day because the ballots were printed on the wrong sized paper. The machines that broke down were in overwhelmingly republican districts. People were told to go to other polling stations, and once they got there after standing in line for hours were told they were at the wrong polling station. It also took over a week to count the mail-in ballots and Lake maintained that the seals on the boxes carrying those ballots were reported by pollwatchers to be broken. Richer refused to allow an audit of the mail-ins. The video cameras at the polling station showed one election worker simply pressing NEXT on the computer instead of scrolling down to check the signature of the scanned mail-in ballots. This one poll worker did this for over a hundred thousand mail-ins. When it went to court, the left-wing hack judge said that because the law does not specify the amount of time a worker has to spend checking a signature, then there was nothing wrong. Richer refused to allow an audit of those mail-ins.

Kari Lake is a fighter, and if it weren't for her, we would never know about the wrong-sized ballots, and we would never know that the SAME THING happened in 2020 (again when Richer was in charge).

After all this, Richer said with a straight smug face that the 2022 election was perfect.

Unfortunately, this RINO scum will still oversee the election this November before his term is over.

Interestingly, Richer was endorsed by former RINO governor Ducey. The McStain wing of the republican party is still alive, but their influence seems to be waning.

Exactly. That's why voters here in AZ couldn't wait to primary Richer.

Proof that the McStain republicans are on the decline:

There were 3 candidates: Richer, Heap (Trump-endorsed), and another 'conservative.' This is what RINOs in time memorial have done to split the conservative vote, and it has always worked. But then along comes Trump, and his endorsement shows voters who the real conservative is.

This result is huge. Praying that WA congressman who voted for impeachment gets his ass handed to him in his primary, where there are also two 'conservatives' running.
