I listened a bit to Dan Bongino, who still maintains Trump’s assassination attempt was a catastrophic failure. No, it was a strategic stand down by the SS to enable the assassin to do his job.
These SS are supposed to be highly trained, but obstensibly did not have the capability that the untrained observers in the crowd did when they were screaming about a man on the roof with a gun.
And the one guy, the guy on site in charge, has still not appeared before Congress.
Maybe it was the Don Knotts type woman who could not operate her holster.
I think you might have seen too many movies; these people are as flawed as any other human being in any other profession.
My experience here in the "greatest country in the world" is that it can't get a lunch order right; I have no problem believing that the mediocrity extends to those assigned to guard our VIPs.
This should be reposted daily:
CNN had it's ONLY live broadcast of a Trump rally that day. They were salivating at the opportunity to get Trump's head exploding live on TV. The reporter who got the 'bullet shot' was shooting with extremely fast gear in order to get that shot. He doubtless was disappointed at not getting a head shot as Trump died.
It is obvious that there was foreknowledge. you don't shoot at 1/8000th of a second in that situation unless you know you want to catch a very small segment of time on 'film'.
